In the presence of the Lord

If it were not for my relationship with God I do not know what my life would be like.  I have had many trials and tribulations in my life but I am so thankful to God for bringing me through the dark places in life.  I am content with this season of my life right now and I thank God for this new season in my life.  I enjoy my quiet time with God away from the hussle and bussle of life.  The quiet times are serene for me and I cherish every quiet moment I can spend in the presence of the Lord.

Heart Warming

Kay Arthur’s book “When the Hurt Runs Deep” is an incredible journey for the broken hearted. Kay makes reference to reasons why a person’s hurt and pain in life run deep and gives practical helps to get through these periods of pain in life. Kay provides wisdom and hope to all who have suffered some type of traumatic emotional or spiritual hurt and pain. Kay also provides many scripture references to inspiring points that she makes through out her book. Kay ends her book with a small group study guide and some heart warming tips to follow when someone is facing a deep and unbearable hurt of emotional pain. Over all Kay’s book was well written and easy to follow. I enjoyed reading this book and will keep it as a part of my library to read over again. I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review.
