Jack Countryman’s book “Time with God for Fathers” is an inspiring book of devotionals. Jack uses everyday subjects to inspire and encourage fathers in their daily walk with God. The devotionals ministers to areas such as forgiveness, honor, praising God, fear, comfort, and love to name a few. The devotionals also have special points just for fathers such as a father’s reward, a father’s legacy, a father’s character, and a father’s faith. Each devotional entry has a scripture verse and a word of encouragement relating to the scripture verse. The words of encouragement can really minister to the heart of the reader. I found myself substituting the words father with the word mother to make it more personal to me but this book is a must read for fathers. I think this book would be a great gift idea to give to fathers for any occasion.
